Pray for New England

Please remember to continue to pray for those affected by Hurricane Sandy.
"On the evening of Monday October 29, Hurricane Sandy slammed into the Jersey Shore, resulting in widespread destruction in towns and communities along the Eastern Seaboard including New Jersey, New York City and Long Island.

Sandy wrecked havoc in entire New Jersey towns. The storm surge set records in Lower Manhattan where flooded substations caused a widespread power outage. The surge flooded subways and airports, leaving much of the NYC transport system suspended for days. It swamped beach fronts on both sides of Long Island Sound and delivered hurricane-force winds from Virginia to Cape Cod as it came ashore.
Three days after Sandy made landfall, approximately 6 million customers were without power. The death toll in the US had risen to 50 people, with the number only expected to increase. Early estimates have the damage and cost of this Super Storm to be as much as $50 billion." - Times Square Church website
